*VISURA APERTA MOMIANO *<\/p>\n

FESTIVAL OF VIDEO and AUDIO MEDIA<\/p>\n

is a call to artists, curators and cultural practitioners for action,
\ninteraction and reaction in the micro locality of Momiano\/Momjan – a field
\ndense and complex in relationships and meanings The area Visura Aperta
\noperates in geographically is one with deep reaching layers of history,
\ndivisions, political upheavals, social transformations, memories and
\nfantasies. It is within this combination of imaginary and historical pasts
\nthat Visura Aperta situates itself as a temporary community transforming the
\npublic space, as guests in a particular micro location, not attempting to
\nbecome locals but returning a certain hospitality the city offers us.<\/p>\n

Visura Aperta will feature a range of programmes related to the multi
\nethnic borderline context, questioning notions of political and social
\nborders.
\nFor the duration of the festival this temporary community formed as a
\nplatform for primarily young artists and curators will act as a tester,
\nmapping the territory it inhabits and featuring programmes, works and
\npresentations by artists from different countries<\/p>\n

Budu\u0107i da Momjan, osim pitoreskne istarske arhitekture i vrsne gastronomske ponude ne nudi nikakav kulturni sadr\u017eaj, hvale je vrijedna inicijativa spomenute povjesni\u010darke umjetnosti te kustosice Nicole Hewitt da pretvore Momjan u svojevrsno sredi\u0161te suvremenih umjetni\u010dkih zbivanja.<\/p>\n

Tijekom dana sredi\u0161te Momjana postaje radionica gdje umjetnici istra\u017euju lokalne obi\u010daje, stvaraju izvedbena djela s djecom mla\u0111e dobi, snimaju slikovne i zvu\u010dne zapise, dok nave\u010der za\u010deljni zid mjesne crkve postaje mjesto projiciranja video i filmskih radova umjetnika koje su izabrali pozvani kustosi. K tomu, prostorije Talijanske zajednice pretvaraju se u galeriju gdje su izlo\u017eeni radovi umjetnika mla\u0111eg nara\u0161taja poput Nine Kurtele, Maje Ro\u017eman ili Nine Be\u0161li\u0107, dok je posljednji dan Festivala predvi\u0111en za zajedni\u010dku izlo\u017ebu gdje \u0107e svi okupljeni umjetnici predstaviti radove nastale u samome Momjanu.

Festival je do sada stekao ve\u0107 zavidnu reputaciju te tako ove godine ovdje izla\u017eu i odr\u017eavaju prezentacije poznati me\u0111unarodni umjetnici poput Emilija Fantina, Marie Chiare Calvani i Danielea Baltija, koji s mje\u0161tanima stvaraju zajedni\u010dki film temeljen na snovima, Floriana Roithmayra, koji stvara umjetni\u010dku \u00bbigru\u00ab u kojoj sudjeljuje cijeli gradi\u0107 ili mladi umjetnici poput Jasmine Cibli\u0107, koja gradi ku\u0107u na stablu. Uz to, \u00bbVizura aperta\u00ab ove je godine uvrstila i vrsne predava\u010de, teoreti\u010dare vizualnih i audio umjetnosti poput berlinskog umjetnika Lillevana Pobjoya ili londonskog umjetnika Stevena Eastwooda, a Festival je ove godine predstavljen i na Venecijanskome biennalu.

Festival \u00bbVisura Aperta\u00ab zapravo je nov model transnacionalne umjetni\u010dke zajednice, povezane internetom, bez \u00bbvelikih\u00ab manifesta i spektakularnih istupanja u javnosti.<\/p>\n
